CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

SHOW RULES


USA-UK European Championships - held annually (established 2002).
This show was a Qualifier for the Royal London Show, the British Skewbald & Piebald Association World Championships of Colour, Kentucky State Fair World Championship Horse Show and the Morgan Grand National in Oklahoma.

Congratulations to Fame's Encore for winning both the Purebred Saddlebred European In Hand & Saddlebred Performance Championships & to Spellbound As If By Magik for taking the Partbred In Hand Championships and the Supreme In Hand Reserve.

DIARY DATES


The United Saddlebred Association's British National Championships are held at Equifest, (East of England Showground). Extensive additions to the 2010 show schedule on 22nd August.  Classes for American Saddlebreds, Morgans, Lusitanos & PREs - schedule now available to download from Equifest

British Skewbald & Piebald Association's World Championship of Colour (28th - 30th August) holds a Saddlebred ring, open to all colours of Saddlebred (e.g. non Pinto's too). 2010 show venue at Keysoe.

The Saddlebred of Britain classes are held at the Royal London Show 3rd September at the East of England Showground (Peterborough).

Selected Saddlebred classes at the following shows are eligible to earn points for the Kentucky State Fair World's Championship Horse Show:
USA-UK European Championships, BMHS Spring Show, Saddlebred Gala Show
American Pleasure Horse Show, Equifest - USA-UK British National Championships

REGISTRATIONS


All horses applying for a passport on or after 1st July 2009, must be micro-chipped & the ID section of the application completed by a Vet. NEW style application forms must be used.

ALL PASSPORTS ARE RETURNED BY RECORDED DELIVERY.
The United Saddlebred Association accepts no liability for any loss incurred whilst in transit with Royal Mail, however to ensure maximum security all passports are returned by Recorded Delivery - unfortunately to offer this service we have had to increase our prices slightly.

HORSE AWARDS


There are a variety of awards your Saddlebred can win during the year, both at individual shows and in our Year End Awards. Both the pure and the partbred are catered for in every discipline imaginable, from the spectacular show horse to the awesome sport horse. ALL competitions earn points towards your championship status - so far four Saddlebreds have earned the required 5,000 points and their CH prefix in the UK - the next one could be YOU!

As well as performance awards we also have awards for those of you that promote the breed by ways of displays and articles, plus schemes for those of you that simply want to enjoy the joys of the countryside aboard an American Saddlebred Horse. Whatever you do with your Saddlebred we have an award to support you.
