AMERICAN PLEASURE
STAR OF LONDON
HORSE SHOW
www.aphs.piczo.com
The American Pleasure Horse Show was formed in 1988 to cater
for
all types of American breeds "in the south"!
It is held on the first Sunday in August at Pachesham
Equestrian Centre,
Leatherhead, Surrey and is easily accessed from the M25 (junction 9)
and the A245.
2010 date - August 1st
From a start of just 15 classes it has now grown to over 60
classes and a
dozen championships. New for 2004 was a "Grand Supreme In Hand
Championship" at the request of some of our 2003 competitors. New for 2006
were individual Iberian classes and their own performance championships.
New for 2008 there were a host of breed specific younsgtock classes with their own
championships.
It caters for all types of horses, both the usual
"English" show horses to
the more exclusive "American" show horses.
As usual we have an in hand Saddlebred class (pure and partbreds judged
separately) and a ridden class.
It hosts Western Equestrian Society affiliated classes, the
British Skewbald
& Piebald London Regional Show and many other championship qualifiers, including
the Royal London Show.
Our rosettes, or ribbons as we like to call them, are
exclusive and come all
the way from America. Over £2,000 worth of prizes are on offer together
with an additional chance to win up to $2,500!
The full schedule is now available and can be viewed online at APHS or by sending a SAE (A5 please) to:
